Another take on Maurice, Mrs Soul and APA2

Though I finished my character designs for Maurice, Mrs Soul and APA2 this weekend I still felt I had to work on them some more, after some time reflecting on my work I found them to be kind of dull and lifeless. 

So instead of trying to make them look nice and clean I decided to just make loads of really rough sketches, resulting in these two, I have one for Mrs Soul too, but I'm still not satisfied with how it turned out, so I'll be uploading that one later.
